Home Fair addresses everyone planning to build, renovate, or purchase property, whether a family house, prefabricated or passive building, urban apartment, or holiday home. The fair presents solutions covering the entire process, from core construction materials, windows, doors, shading systems, and structural components to heating, cooling, and energy self-sufficiency systems, as well as interior design, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor arrangements. A strong focus is placed on energy efficiency, smart connected technologies, and sustainable materials, with wood highlighted as a contemporary and responsible choice.
The fair occupies all exhibition halls of GR Ljubljana, complemented by two temporary halls, enabling a clear, extensive, and well-structured presentation of the full range of construction and home improvement solutions.
Bringing together more than 400 domestic and international companies, the event offers visitors a comprehensive overview of the market and the opportunity to directly compare materials, technologies, and services. It also provides practical expert consultations and direct access to verified information and trusted suppliers.
A free shuttle service between P+R Stožice and the venue is introduced to encourage sustainable mobility and reduce traffic congestion during the event.
Home Fair builds its value through a strong content programme that goes beyond a traditional exhibition format. A significant part of the event consists of free expert consultations in architecture, sustainable construction, energy efficiency, and interior design, supporting visitors in making well-informed decisions.
The accompanying programme further strengthens the event by connecting different segments of the industry and addressing current topics in modern living. A key highlight is the Slovenian Wood Industry Day, which serves as an important platform for professionals, businesses, researchers, and decision-makers, emphasising the role of wood as a strategic and contemporary building material.
The event’s professional credibility is reinforced by the presentation of the Quality Mark in Construction, a national certification recognising high-quality, innovative, and sustainable solutions. Awarded by an independent expert committee of the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute (ZRMK), the certification has so far been granted to more than 160 solutions that contribute to a higher quality of living.
