Conventa Business Exchange at GR Ljubljana Congress and Convention Centre

From 20 to 22 February, Conventa, the leading business exchange for the meetings industry in the region, will take place at GR Ljubljana Congress and Convention Centre.

A total of 112 exhibitors from 16 countries will meet with 162 hosted buyers from 31 countries. More than 350 participants will take part in the trade show segment, joined by an additional 160 guests attending the accompanying events. With more than 500 professionals from the region between Helsinki and Istanbul, and Milan and Baku, Ljubljana will once again become the heart of the regional meetings industry.

Co-founder of the event, Gorazd Čad, highlighted: “Conventa is a long-distance run. You need to be persistent, know how to stand out and be different, and strive to improve every year. What matters is the journey, the daily effort, and a good team, as well as a touch of passion, which the Conventa team never lacks. And also a bit of youthful mischief and creativity, embodied this year by the musical backdrop Aka Neomi’s ‘Grow Old’, which you will often hear during Conventa.”

Conventa will be the first event to be delivered and evaluated in line with the ESRS standard.

The event will be organised in accordance with the criteria of the Planet Positive Event project, a tool developed by a group of leading Slovenian experts in the sustainable transformation of events. The tool will not only measure the event’s carbon footprint, but also assess its compliance with ESRS standards.
